Thomas in trouble
Our little 19-month old is quite advanced, even when it comes to getting in trouble. When Thomas does something he knows he's not allowed to do, like stand on his train table, try to jump on the couch with Bridget, or throw things at people, we put him on the steps for timeout and count to ten. He then says he's "sorry" and runs on his merry way. Apparently our little guy has started his terrible 2's early, because he has been in timeout so many times, he can count to ten. When I walk him to the steps, as soon as he sits down he says, "one, two, three..." It's difficult to maintain composure as he smiles at you and counts. We're not sure he quite understands the punishment yet, but he's learning.
