Thomas works to expand his vocabulary

It brings his parents much joy to say one of Thomas's new favorite past-times is to either sit in the corner of the couch or lie on the floor on his belly to read a good book.  Currently, he enjoys pulling out his word books and pointing out all the words he's learned.

Showing Mommy how well he can read too

Excited to show off all the trucks

Thomas's newest word list (to the best of our knowledge):

Mommy
Daddy (whom Thomas also refers to as "Joe" on occasion)
Papa
Grandma
Sar (Aunt Sarah)
Steven (Ste-ben)
Charlie (used to identify any male toddler)
Maggie (when excited, this turns to Buggy)
Lucky (sometimes "Bucky" when excited)
Cassie

Doggie, kitty (especially fond of Aunt Kathy's cats), frog, turtle
His farm puzzle has taught him:  Chicken, Goat (which he knows says "baa"), Duck, Sheep, Cow (which says "moo"), Piggy, Horse

Banana, pizza, strawberries, chicken (leading to confusion when he sees live chickens), cracker, cookie, juice, milk (which he loves very much), Cheerios (used to reference all cereals), goldfish, pretzel, "butter" (peanut butter)

Plane, copter, cycle (which goes "vroom"), truck, big truck, car, bike, tractor, wagon, train, boat

Slide, swing, ball, rock, blanket, splash, water, chair

Tag, diaper, shoes, shirt, shorts, hat, socks

Up, down, more, please, thank you, bless you

Moon, fan, light

He loves to try new words and mimics everything we say (which means we have to watch every word we say). He is learning so much so quickly it's hard to keep up.
