This morning it was too cold for Thomas to wear his sandals, so Mommy let him pick out some other shoes from the closet. When she pulled out his pair of Chuck Taylors, he said "Daddy's shoes!" and immediately tried to put them on. Like father, like son
Thomas also loves learning how to help around the house. He loves to brush his own teeth, sweep the floor, put trash into the trash can, and put away his toys (well, sometimes). Perhaps the task he enjoys much is telling the dog what to do. He will now stand at the top of the stairs and yell "Lucky, come here," to get the dog to come upstairs to go outside. He will also grab her leash from the drawer so we can take her for walks, and really enjoys walking her around the house. If Lucky walks too fast, he makes sure to tell her to "Sit." He is now an expert at giving her treats. He gets really excited to give them to her, and likes to get her to "S'eek (speak), woof (in case she's unsure what "speak" means)!" He's such a big helper. Hopefully this continues when the little one arrives.
He has also enjoyed his time at Aunt "Kaffy's". He loves seeing the dogs and cats, as well as pointing out Cassie and the horsies in pictures. We are so blessed to have such supportive family members.
