Down on the farm.

A few weeks ago Thomas and Mommy met up with our friend Allyson to go to the "farm." He really enjoyed himself. Highlights from the visit included seeing the tractor (and wanting to touch the giant tires), playing on the playground (where there was plenty of mulch and rocks to play in), throwing said mulch into the nearby pond (which also had a fountain), and seeing lots of new animals.

Thomas pets his first cow, which was about a year younger than Thomas. He then learned cows say "moo." He is now under the assumption that all farm animals say "moo."

Outside the cow exhibit was a play ice cream truck. As alluded to in previous posts, Thomas may have found his calling.

This ice cream truck not only sells waffle cones, but waffles as well.

Thomas was hesitant, but finally touched the sheep.

Okay, so maybe the first and only real rule was not to allow children to touch animals' faces, but that's the only part he could reach through the fence. At least we followed the rule about hand sanitizing after visiting each animal.

The goats were very noisy, which always caught Thomas's attention.

Thomas is seven hands tall.

After watching the workers ride the horses, he was inspired to try out a saddle.
