Thomas is happy crawling.

For months now, we've been waiting with mixed emotions for our son to start walking.  As early as Thanksgiving he would walk while holding somebody's fingers.  Yet Thomas has never taken more than a few steps by himself before stopping and reaching for the ground.  He is very fast when crawling, giving him little motivation to try to walk.
