A Tuesday post on Tuesday

Thomas loves having all his presents under the Christmas tree still. When set on the floor, he immediately crawls back and forth between his ball pit and the tree, looking for new presents to pull out that he has yet to explore.  He definitely has a few favorites.  He loves playing with his Fischer-Price farm, because all the pieces are the perfect size to chew.  He also loves chasing his Thomas the Tank engine Shake-and-go train.  He received a stacking cup/ball set, which entertains his father about as much as it does Thomas.  Daddy will stack them up and Thomas will try to knock them down.  Thomas is in destroyer mode, trying to knock down and scatter anything he can find.  Thomas also loves mommy's new spatula.  Today he saw it was still in the bag under the tree, and immediately went to rectify that by placing it in his mouth and crawling around everywhere with it in his hand. This was quite a feat, considering the size of the spatula. Thomas could not understand why he could not crawl while he had his knee on top of it.

Thomas is definitely becoming more mobile and more aware of the things around him.  It's amazing how good he's become at picking things up and moving them around.  He sure is growing up quickly.
