After going to bed sometime before midnight (sometimes as early as nine,) Thomas wakes up in the early morning (about 5), is fed, and goes right back to sleep. He wakes up again around 8, and, after eating again, usually falls asleep in bed with Mommy.
After this, he usually stays awake for a little bit, eats about noon or one, and falls back asleep. How long he sleeps varies greatly; some days he sleeps for half an hour, sometimes two and a half hours.
While he looks peaceful when he sleeps, he usually isn't happy when he wakes up.
He is cranky because he's hungry.
The rest of the day is spent between screaming, eating, and sleeping, with some arm flailing and fist eating in between.
As he nears bed time for the night, he becomes less pleasant, and we do whatever we can to quiet him.
Eventually, he falls asleep, we put him to bed, and everything starts over again.
